Web Editor

The ISTSS is seeking a new Web Editor for a two-year, renewable term. The Web editor is responsible for the content, appearance, functionality and effectiveness of the website. The successful candidate will have previous experience with web technology including managing website content and functions.
The primary responsibility for the Web Editor is to implement the vision for the ISTSS website set by the Board of Directors, and to bring ideas for new content, features, and initiatives to the Board of Directors for improving and enhancing the site. They will be responsible for vetting all website content for accuracy, appropriateness, and compliance with ISTSS policies.
Candidates should have an advanced degree or comparable experience in a trauma-related field. They should also be an active member of the ISTSS, and have familiarity with the ISTSS mission, membership, organizational structure. The Web Editor will have the authority to appoint one or two Associate or Student Web Editors, and will be expected to liaise with other editors (e.g., StressPoints, Social Media, JTS) and committees (e.g., Special Interest Groups, Public Information and Education Oversight Committee).
