Trauma Training and Guidelines

Through its Task Force on International Trauma Training, ISTSS participated in the creation of two sets of guidelines for training health care and mental health providers in interventions for trauma-exposed populations:

• The ISTSS/Rand Guidelines on Mental Health Training of Primary Healthcare Providers for Trauma-Exposed Populations in Conflict-Affected Countries

• Guidelines for International Training in Mental Health and Psychosocial Interventions for Trauma-Exposed Populations in Clinical and Community Settings
