Anka.jpgDear readers,‎

I am writing to introduce myself as the incoming Editor of StressPoints. I am excited to serve ‎ISTSS in this role. On behalf of ISTSS, I would like to extend immense gratitude to Dr. Christal ‎Badour for doing a truly phenomenal job with StressPoints during her tenure as Editor. Dr. ‎Badour set a high bar, and we will continue to strive for excellence and impact going forward.‎

I envision StressPoints as a platform to bring evidence-based, multidisciplinary ‘soundbites’ of ‎topics and issues relevant to the field of traumatic stress to readership. StressPoints provides an ‎ideal platform for bridging science with practice and/or policy, for amplifying innovations in ‎education, science, or practice, for creating discourse around pertinent issues to our ‎communities, and for reviewing media and literature of relevance to our readership. ‎StressPoints is intended to be an easily digestible, accessible newsletter featuring succinct ‎articles that illustrate a diversity of perspectives on traumatic stress. Going forward, I hope to ‎amplify the involvement of early-stage investigators, to increase contributions from ISTSS ‎members from around the world, to elevate the voices of those historically underrepresented in ‎this arena, and to elucidate topics of interest and value to persons and communities who are ‎underserved and understudied in the field of traumatic stress. ‎

If you have any questions, ideas, or feedback about StressPoints, please do not hesitate to ‎contact me: avujanovic@tamu.edu

I look forward to your perspectives. Please note that we have several open positions available! ‎Please review the Call for Contributing Editors and contact me if you are interested in being ‎involved.‎
