Membership Tiers & Rates

ISTSS offers a number of membership options to meet your individual needs—including multiyear memberships. This allows members to lock in current rates by pre-paying for membership. ISTSS members who select a two- or three-year membership package do so at a 10% discount. The discount applies to membership dues and not the Journal of Traumatic Stress Studies (JTS) print subscriptions fees.

ISTSS membership is on an anniversary dues cycle, meaning membership begins on the date the membership dues payment is processed and extends for one year.

Regular Membership

Regular membership is open to all lay and professional persons. Choose whether you want access to the Journal of Traumatic Stress in both print and electronic formats or, at a discount, in electronic format only.

One-Year Membership

Two-Year Membership

Early Career Professional Membership

A reduced membership fee is available to early career professionals who have graduated with a degree less than three years ago are eligible. Early Career Professional Regular Members enjoy all membership benefits.

A reduced membership fee is available to students who are enrolled in a program of study leading to a degree. Student Regular Members enjoy all membership benefits.

Retired Membership

ISTSS offers a retired member category for individuals that are at least 65 years of age and have maintained ISTSS Regular Member status for seven or more consecutive years immediately preceding seeking the discounted rate. Retired members enjoy all regular membership benefits. For more information on criteria and eligibility, contact ISTSS via email.

Corresponding Membership

ISTSS extends Corresponding Membership to individuals that reside in an African country, China, Hong Kong, India, Macau/Macao, Puerto Rico and Taiwan.

ISTSS Corresponding Membership is extended to individuals who pay ISTSS affiliate society dues (ACET, ASTSS, CPA TSS, DeGPT, ESTSS, JSTSS, KSTSS and SAPsi).

Corresponding Members receive access to the membership directory on the ISTSS website, will receive relevant broadcast email announcements and reminders, have access to the StressPoints eNewsletter, can participate as a member of ISTSS Committees and Special Interest Groups (SIGs), are eligible to nominate themselves or others for ISTSS grants and awards; are eligible to receive ISTSS grants and awards and the opportunity to submit names of ISTSS Regular Members for consideration by the Nominations Committee to stand for election to the Board of Directors.
