Call for Papers - Trauma, PTSD, and Aging
JTS Special Issue: Trauma, PTSD, and Aging
Editors: Brian Smith and Anica Pless Kaiser
The Journal of Traumatic Stress is seeking original manuscripts for a proposed special issue. The special issue will focus on empirical research addressing the links among trauma exposure, PTSD, and aging. Manuscripts focused on a range of samples with varying traumatic exposures and aging-related factors are welcomed. Studies examining the potential long-term relation between PTSD and psychological, physical, or cognitive health outcomes are of particular interest, including longitudinal studies that allow the testing of (bi)directional models. Systematic review papers and meta-analyses in the topic area are also welcome.
Prospective contributors are welcome to consult Drs. Brian Smith (Brian.Smith12@va.gov) and Anica Pless Kaiser (Anica.PlessKaiser@va.gov) before submitting an abstract. A one-page abstract should be submitted to Drs. Smith and Kaiser at the addresses above no later than May 31, 2024.
