The goal of the July 2025 C&C session is to feature Drs. Suzanne Best, Tracy Fehrenbach, and Melissa Zielinski in a discussion focused on justice-involved populations. The conversation will explore: (1) who these populations are; (2) each speaker’s experiences working with them; (3) effective strategies for engaging justice-involved individuals in both research and clinical practice—including regulatory considerations, collateral care, and distinctions between youth and adult populations; and (4) key lessons and reflections aimed at supporting both early-career and seasoned professionals in this important area of work.
